OPERATION
WIND
The design harnesses wind power to create upward wind pressure, allowing smoke and exhaust gases to be drawn out of the duct and thus preventing or minimizing smoke backflow. By incorporating multiple openings in the OPTIMUS, it functions effectively regardless of wind direction.
RAIN
Under normal conditions, the OPTIMUS provides optimal protection for your chimney against any form of precipitation. This prevents nuisance from soot stains and/or stained walls where your chimney is located.
